Why? Would you prefer Freightliner?

I surprised me, too. But, I guess that there is only a limited # of makes/models of trailers they can use as haulers.

These haulers are super nice. In the Canadian Tire Series they just have renovated semis for haulers. With none of the fancy features that the Cup guys have!

Ford owns Volvo (at least the car division), and Ford doesn't make a the proper semi. It works.

Roush has been using them since at least 2001.....

My daugter lives just west of the Roush "compound" as she calls it and she still gets excited when she sees the haulers on the roads around town. She called me when she got her first look at the new ones and the UPS and Aflac are her favorites. She says the colors in person are really sharp - so I can't wait to see them at Fontana. Thanks for sharing the pics with us.

Yeah, I didn't think that Ford owned the truck division of Volvo. I remember when they actually made semi trucks, but sold the division off to Sterling trucks. But if I'm not mistaken, Sterling is now owned by Daimler. the funny thing though, Sterling's top semi is still basically a Ford Aeromax.

Ford Aeromax

Sterling Semi

Way to change the styling eh?
And another....there's a Ford dealership here and they share the lot with Sterling still! LOL

They could use International as well. And I don't think the Ford F-750 would suffice!
